Here we were tasked by the main office of one of the largest banks in the region to develop an efficient solution to a consolidation of their central offices.  We worked with the bank board of directors to choose a central site, prepare all necessary project planning documents and work with the local municipality throughout the approval process.  After the project was approved we acted as the designer and construction manger for the 1.2 million Euro, two story office complex.  Our unique design provided an efficient solution which the client embraced from the start.  The office complex has been in use since June of 2000.

For the city of Pordenone, we were called upon to provide architectural and construction management services for a 1.6M Euro multi-purpose gymnasium.  Although the structural calculations and mechanical electrical works were provided by other firms, we were tasked with the overall project integration, coordination and post award construction management services for the city.  The 20 thousand square foot facility has an indoor championship basketball/volleyball court, workout rooms, locker rooms, shower facilities and office spaces.  It will be completed in December of 2004.

Fazioli Pianos was created in the 1970’s, with the aim of constructing a new professional line of grand and concert pianos in Italy.  To achieve this goal, Paolo Fazioli, a pianist and engineer, put together a team of acoustic physicists, wood technologists, piano makers and pianists to develop a hand made product which would have a unique sound all its own.  When Paolo Fazioli wanted to expand his factory to add a concert hall where the world’s best pianists could test his product, he turned to AST.  Obviously, meeting the exacting quality standards for a piano concert hall for Fazioli was no easy task, but it was one we took on with great excitement.  The planning, design and construction management services we provided for this 2.2 million Euro project have delighted our client so much that we have been invited to witness concert piano tests when the project is completed in late 2003.

We were called on to renovate an historical 16^th century villa to be used as a luxury hotel.  The hotel was to form a part of a golf course and restaurant complex situated in the downtown area of Castel D’Aviano, about an hour north of Venice.   The 2.1 million Euro project included working with the local community historical preservation societies to ensure the work maintained the required architectural standards while conforming with all seismic and fire protection requirements.  Our work included design and construction management services for the entire project, which consisted of architectural, electrical, mechanical and structural design, including installation of an elevator and completion of all exterior landscaping and parking areas.  The restoration was completed in July of 2002 and resulted in a 39 room hotel which was rated as four star.
